Sheikh Abdulaziz Hamad Aljomaih

Sheikh Abdulaziz Hamad Aljomaih spearheads the International Investments Division of the Aljomaih Group with a well-diversified portfolio of investments spread all across the globe. He is also the Chairman of Arcapita Bank in Bahrain and on the Board of Directors of Etihad Etisalat Company (Mobily).
Sheikh Abdulaziz holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Southern California, United States and a Bachelors Degree of Engineering with a major in architectural engineering from the King Saud University, Saudi Arabia.

Starting out as a medical doctor, Dr. Khan has since gone on to have an extensive career in many facets of the healthcare industry. Today, he has become a highly respected authority on the efficient and effective management of pharmaceutical companies globally.
As Managing Director of AJ Pharma Holdings, he is instrumental in ensuring the investee businesses develop and grow in line with the group’s vision.
Beyond his medical qualifications, Dr. Khan holds an MBA and PhD. in Healthcare Management and has amassed vast experience in setting up new businesses and opening new markets for the pharmaceutical industry.
With more than 20 years’ experience in senior management roles of multinational companies, Dr Khan is a renowned pharmaceutical and healthcare strategist. Besides his role with AJ Pharma Holding, he currently runs leadership and management development programmes, and has presented at various international forums on Management, Pharmaceutical Marketing, Healthcare Value Management, Pharmaco-Economics, Diabetes and Hypertension.

Mustafa Farooki is the Executive Director at Tricap Investments and manages the International Investments portfolio of Al Jomaih Group. He brings with him over twenty years of experience in portfolio management.
Prior to joining Tricap, he has spent twelve years with AREF Investment Group in Kuwait, setting up and supervising the International Investments Division. During his term at AREF, he managed a real estate and leasing portfolio spread in US and Europe and other direct investments while supervising a team of analysts. He was appointed on the Board of Directors of various affiliated / related companies and SPVs to oversee investments.
He has also held positions in Corporate Banking at Faysal Bank and Fidelity Investment Bank Limited in Pakistan.
He was awarded the CFA charter in 2005 and also holds an MBA degree.

Shan is a co-founder and Partner at Tricap Investments, and the Chief Investment Officer of International Investments at the Al Jomaih Group. He possesses over 40 years of experience in investment and portfolio management with large multinationals and Middle Eastern groups. He has previously worked with multinationals and industry leaders in the UK, Canada, USA, the UAE and Kuwait, in the areas of operations, finance, treasury, public accounting, and strategic and corporate planning.
He is a Qualified Chartered Accountant and Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, as well as the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Saeed Mohammed Bashatah has been with the Aljomaih Group since 1960 and is the Deputy General Manager, International Investments and L/C Departments of the Aljomaih Holding Co. His major responsibilities include supervising the investment portfolio, managing risks and supporting the Vice President and the Board of Directors of the Group in strategic business development. He also acts as an advisor to the Group's Chairman.

Albert is a results-driven senior operating and management executive with a chemical engineering background. An expert in his field, he possesses more than 25 years of experience in biotechnology-driven pharmaceuticals, industrial, healthcare and bio energy industries.
He brings this wealth of experience to AJ Pharma Holding to ensure the facilities under construction are designed, constructed and commissioned to meet all regulatory requirements, as well as the needs of the company.
His range of technical skills include design, technology transfers, technical services and turnkey project management. Additionally, he has also been instrumental in driving strategic planning, R&D activities, as well as human resources and capital improvement for process plant management. Albert also possesses extensive knowledge in qualification and validation techniques for sterile plant operation.
